Corporation Mission Statement:
The Hanover Community School Corporation will
provide support to our public to realize our vision
for the future. In order to do this, we will:
- Shift our current paradigm and open learning
opportunities, programs, and facilities to our
citizens;
- Raise the local graduation requirements to include
a minimum of the state's Core 40 curriculum,
independent credit opportunities, and flexible
scheduling;
- Expect a standards-based education that focuses on
the success of each and every learner.
- Every child can, will, and must learn.
- The Board of School Trustees is responsible
to the children and public-at-large.
- Educational leaders, including teachers,
principals, and the superintendent of schools
are responsible for all children and should be
provided the tools and skills necessary to meet
the individual needs of students.
- The family is central to the learning of their
children and must be collaborators with
educational leaders in the life-long process of
learning.
- The school corporation cannot realize its vision
for the future and experience success with its
mission without the support and involvement of
the community.
