2021 eLEARNING PROCEDURES
It is the time of year where we must plan on the inevitable ‘snow day’ for our students. The following protocol has been put in place:
Snow days will become eLearning days for our current in-person students. Those students currently in eLearning will continue to use their curren eLearning programing. In the event of a snow day teachers will be available for all students (k-12) between the hours of 9:00-10:30 a.m. and 1:00-2:30 p.m.
For High School and Middle School students, assignments will be due the same day they were assigned by 11:59 p.m. Jane Ball and Lincoln Elementary School students will have three school days following the eLearning snow day to complete their assigned work. Elementary students should log into their Google Classroom accounts as they did in the spring. If work is not completed within the three-day window for elementary students, the snow day will be counted as an unexcused absence. Attendance for all students (k-12) will be tracked by work completion.
By following these simple protocols, we, as a district, and you, as a family will not be required to ‘make-up’ snow days. If you have any questions, please contact your building Principal in advance of inclement weather.
