• National Honor Society Activities

    Being a member of NHS is a distinction that holds significance throughout a student’s academic life, and the benefits of National Honor Society membership lasts a lifetime.  Our focus remains on developing and improving student’s participation if four key areas:  Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service.


    Induction into the Hanover Central High School Chapter of The National Honor Society begins with an application process and continues with an Induction Ceremony held in late October or early November.

    The National Honor Society serves a local food bank in Northwest Indiana, a project that leaves an indelible mark on the NHS participants and those they served.
