Business Department
Assistant Superintendent of Business & Operations
Adam Minth joined Hanover Community School Corporation in 2016, and currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations. Mr. Minth graduated from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Human Resources. He later earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education in Indianapolis. During his tenure at HCSC, Mr. Minth played a pivotal role in the corporation’s operating, and construction referendums. He oversaw the 79 million dollar building project which included major upgrades to Hanover Central High School, as well as the construction of Red Cedars Elementary. Mr. Minth is very proud that the corporation has been able to decrease its total tax rate by 23% since 2016, while still undergoing major capital projects due to rapidly increasing enrollment, increasing teacher pay, raising starting teacher pay, and enhancing safety and security measures district-wide.
Mr. Minth is a native of Lafayette, who moved with his wife, Katie, to Cedar Lake in 2013. They have three children together, Ava (10), Khloe (9), and Nora (5) who all attend Hanover schools. Katie and her three sisters are all native and current residents of Cedar Lake, and Hanover alumni. In his free time, Mr. Minth enjoys being outdoors with his 3 daughters fishing, camping and coaching softball.
Mr. Minth’s message to the community is simply that Hanover schools truly do put children first. “As the uncle of current students, and the parent of three current students, that is what matters. I’m so thankful to be part of a community that supports its school corporation, and truly values their education.”
