Human Resources Department
Director of HR
Ms. Tina Mudy recently joined our Administrative staff as our new Human Resources Coordinator. Ms. Mudy brings 15 years of Human Resource experience in the private sector to Hanover schools. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in the same field from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
“I am excited to be a part of Hanover Schools, where there is a positive environment and an opportunity to help kids. People who choose to work at Hanover are here with a purpose, they really want to do their jobs and do them well. I can help our employees understand their role in the corporation and in turn that helps our kids,” explains Ms. Mudy. “HR is a resource for our employees, not a hindrance. Building strong relationships at every employee level is important and a top priority for me. It’s what I bring to Hanover schools from my previous positions and experience that I can apply immediately.
After just a few days in her new office at the Administration Building, Ms. Mudy had the feeling that this job is a good fit for her. “Everyone has been very helpful and has made me feel welcome,” she said.
Understanding licensing, certifications and the classifications of employees, as well as understanding the district’s policies and practices are at the forefront of her current focus. When not absorbed in helping employees and learning procedures, Ms. Mudy loves to travel, is a huge Chicago White Sox fan and enjoys being a self-proclaimed news junky during political season.
