    Welcome Back Lincoln Leopards!

I hope all of our families had a fun-filled summer break. I want to welcome back all of our returning students but also want to welcome all of our new students. We welcome you to Lincoln and I am confident you will feel at home.

Hanover Community Schools have seen dramatic increases in enrollment along with impressive increases in student performance in recent years. I have to believe those two factors are closely connected.

In the past 4 years, enrollment in Hanover has increased by 13%. Last school year, Hanover was awarded an A rating from the Indiana Department of Education. Hanover had the third highest ISTEP pass rate of any corporation in Lake County and ranked 27th in the State of Indiana.

Lincoln Elementary earned an A rating as a school and was also recognized as a Four Star School for high performance on state-wide testing. We are looking forward to what the future holds for our school and are committed to helping our students continue to grow academically and as individuals.

I believe this success is due to the hard work of our students, the outstanding dedication of our staff, and the efforts and support provided by our families. Thank you for all your efforts at home and for your involvement within the school. It truly takes a community approach to providing the highest quality of education for our students. I am here to serve the Lincoln students, families, and staff and I encourage you to reach out if you ever have questions or concerns. I have missed each of you and look forward to seeing you back at school on August 14.

Frank Zaremba is a native of southern California where he lived until seventh grade.  He then relocated, with his Mom to DeMotte and graduated from Kankakee Valley.  Mr. Zaremba is surrounded by educators in his personal life.  His in-laws are both retired educators and his wife, Rebecca, is a first grade teacher at Bibich Elementary School in Dyer.  He is the father of two children and “became a teacher to be a teacher.”  His move to administration came from his enjoyment of working as a team member with other educators and he most recently served as Dean of Students for Lake Central Elementary and Middle Schools.  He has a passion for helping students make better choices and making their futures brighter by being involved in their lives.  Mr. Zaremba has a BS in Education, and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction and a second MS in Education Administration from Ball State University.  He is looking forward to the ‘connected’ feeling of Hanover schools and becoming a part of the Hanover family.
