Welcome to third grade! My name is Caroline Koontz and this is my sixth year teaching at Lincoln Elementary. I taught first grade and third grade in Illinois before starting my family. I then spent many years substitute teaching while my children were young. Now that they are older the time was right for me to get back to teaching full time. I have 2 daughters, Elizabeth is 22 and studying speech pathology at Governor's State University and Lauren is a senior at Hanover High School. My son, Matthew, is in 8th grade at Hanover Middle School. I am very happy to be at such a wonderful school, and I look forward to getting to know your child and watching him/her learn and grow each and everyday.
