• What is Response to Intervention?

Response to Intervention (RTI) is a multi-step process in which students are provided research-based interventions.  If you, as a student, are struggling in a particular area, you may be provided with interventions designed to meet your academic and/or behavioral needs.  If you excel in a particular area, you may be provided additional learning opportunities.  Research-based interventions are strategies shown to be effective through research that are used to address specific skill deficits and enhance learning.  Your progress is monitored throughout the process in order to determine whether additional or different interventions are needed.
